【義大利‧羅馬】共和廣場一景
從羅馬特米尼火車站(Termini)出來後，有一個很大的廣場，是公車站，
又稱為五于人廣場(Piazza dei Cinquecento)，幾乎所有的羅馬市公車都會從這裡發車。
穿過廣場向前走，不久就會看到和廣場了，大家不妨把這裡當作第一步區。
離開了許願池，走向羅馬火車站的方向～～
下個目標就是共和廣場了(Piazza di Repubblica)；共和廣場是個半圓形的廣場，也是個交通圓環。
廣場中央有一座知名的女神噴泉(Fontana della Naiadi)，完成於１９０１年，是很近代的作品。
周圍的建築呈半圓形，圍著這片廣場，建築物的樓面很高，還有許多柱廊，店面多半是一些銀行、旅行社和小餐館。
這個廣場在十九世紀時被重新規劃，雖然，當時廣場中央的女神噴泉曾引起非議，因為裸體女神的雕像被批評為不雅，
但是從今天的眼光看起來，這四座女神的雕像其實很美，而每一座雕像都搭配著不同的水中生物，也分別有不同的意義。
其中海馬是代表海洋、水蛇是象徵河流、天鵝是湖泊、蜥蜴則是象徵地下水，非常有趣。
在共和廣場前往特米尼火車站之時，會經過一間外形看來十分古老的教堂，
感覺有點像廢墟，那就是天使的聖瑪麗亞教堂(Santa Maria degli Angeli)。
這間教堂是在１５６３年米開朗基羅利用原先大浴場中的廢墟所改建的，
而到了十八世紀再由凡維特爾(Luigi Vancitelli)改變為現在的模樣。
不過從中央的女神噴泉看去，斷垣殘壁的景象有些淒涼。哈哈！～
去義大利的時候是前任教宗過逝的第二年，也不曉得是不是這教堂為了紀念教宗的原固，
好像辦了一些聚會及展覽。到教堂裡參觀的時候聚會還沒開始，
但參觀完得正要離開時，發現人龍車隊緊接著來，許多人開始湧進教堂。
外觀看起來像似廢墟的教堂裡頭卻是如此華麗壯觀，形成了完全的對比。
教堂的內部設計完全把巴洛克式的風格發揮得淋漓盡致，簡直美不勝收～
這是我在教堂裡頭拍的畫像，乃前任教宗教宗是教宗若望·保祿二世（John Paul II），
他於1978年58歲時被選為教宗，也是自哈德良六世（1522年-1523年）間在位以來首位被選為教宗的非義大利人。若望‧保祿二世於2005年4月2日 19:37GMT逝世，享年84歲。
教堂裡展示了許多前任教宗的畫像，看起來特別慈祥，很讓人親近的感覺。
教堂裡超大的風琴很令人讚嘆耶！也是注目的焦點之一。
看那人在那彈琴與風琴的比例就曉得這風琴有多大了吧！
教堂風琴演奏也是當天的表演之一，可惜當時沒有留下來好好欣賞風琴演奏。
