依斯蘭第二大節日–Eid Adha

依斯蘭日暦最後的一個月是潮拜月，根據Quran的要求每一名教徒必須在有生之年至少一次在這一月份到沙特亞拉伯的Mecca進行潮拜。這是一年一度全球依斯蘭教徒的重大事件及任務。潮拜後，便是他們一年一度重大的節日。節日每年約在十二月八日與行，持繼三天。Eid Adha是紀念Prophet Abraham對神的忠心及致死不渝的愛。Abraham是一位十分受教徒表揚的人物。跟據Quran記載，Allah曾經測試他，要他把兒子殺掉以供奉牠，他毫不猶疑，答應Allah的旨令，Allah回應：「你已把一切交給我，我再沒有別的要求。」

為了紀念這一則事件，教徒們在這一節日裏均宰殺牲蓄以表示對Allah的愛。信徒們相信，Allah賜給他們肉食，每次宰牲時必須重申Allah的名字，提醒自己要珍惜生命及Allah的恩賜。宰牲的牛羊，三份一留給親友，三份一送給鄰居，三份一捐贈給貧困。這一傳統象徴著我們願意把珍貴的東西與別人分享及依從Allah的使命行事。
節日的第一天清晨，男教徒會一早到Mosque進行集體崇拜。之後，與家人一起出外拜訪，互相祝賀及送禮。此外，他們更會相約在家中後園或一些農場內進行宰牲的儀式，稍後再將鮮肉分給親朋及貧困的人。
