踏進阿拉伯世界的第三年

今年才真正開始打開心屝接受阿拉伯傳統，不認同但尊重。以香港標準來衡量，會令人失衡。決意要愛這一民族。阿拉伯女性開始崛起，要從男性的手中拿回自主權，過程將會比以前亞洲女性的更辛酸及漫長，她們受依斯蘭法管制。令我回想到大學時一名瑞典老師是一女權組織的代表，每次當提及沙特阿拉伯，義氣填腔；氣憤難平，時至今日才體會到。

不斷受阿拉伯文化冲擊，同時也冲撃著他們的文化。家長害怕女兒受外來文化的沾濡，動搖其依斯蘭思想。出外留學回來的女兒不披頭紗、不穿長袍，令父母訝然。後悔當時的決定。

不少外國居民在這裏改從依斯蘭，朋友們怕我被熏陶，勸籲不要出席任何依斯蘭宗教活動，我卻認為學習其他宗教及受其冲擊是宗教生活成長的一部份，意志堅定便可，防不勝防。

依斯蘭弟兄姊妹的觀念比任何一宗教也強，各地教徒聯系緊密。阿拉伯國家十多個，同一語言、同一宗教、同一種族，他們到訪別的阿拉伯國家，正如探訪兄弟的家庭一樣的親切。
