阿拉伯文字是從右至左順的，數字亦然。很多阿拉伯人不懂看羅馬數字，出錯的機會大。與阿拉伯人合作或到阿拉伯國家旅遊時，必須多加注意，否則損失可超乎想像。

在香港大學上了三年阿拉伯語後，得到獎學金到約旦。上了一年語言課後，放棄了中醫學位，留在約旦。現在一邊從事翻譯工作， 一邊修讀一依斯籣傳统藝術學位，目標完成碩士後返港從事文化及藝術工作。現在因工作關係，多遊走於中東一帶及依斯籣教國家 ，寫的主要是中東一帶及阿拉伯文化。更多
