Johnny Depp once said he just want all his belongings to fit in a small bag, then he can move to anywhere in the world at anytime. Wow that's cool. I thought frequent travellers are cool, being cool is pretty much the reason why I signed up for this project where I could spend no more than 3 weeks in any country. Is that cool so far? 6 months on the road, I almost forgot I once owned a chain of keys, now I only have a pile of access cards. Sometimes I use the hotel card to enter the office lobby, and I always fish for a card whenever I see a lift, even in a mall. My colleague shared the pain: I thought it is cool, now my shoes are in Singapore, my socks in Hong Kong, my trousers in Sydney, and I am in KL, I have nothing to wear to go out with you except the work suit and tie, now it is not cool. My neighbour shared the pain: I have a shared home in Singapore, my families in the States, and I work 3 days a week in KL. Just realised I spent more time on the plane, on the bus and on the taxi than anywhere else. Even the JetStar staff recognise my face. When I stay home too long, I miss travel When I travel too much, I miss home Where are you now? Do you miss travel or do you miss home?
